The Light Within: A Full Moon Plant Medicine Retreat

In the Andean cosmological understanding, life unfolds through cycles of relationship, reciprocity, and transformation. We are not separate from the natural world but part of a living web connecting the Earth, the cosmos, and all forms of existence. The Full Moon offers a symbolic moment of illumination, inviting us to observe our inner landscape with greater clarity and recognize the patterns that shape our thoughts, emotions, relationships, and choices.

Why the Full Moon?

The Full Moon represents the height of the lunar cycle, when the Moon is fully illuminated by the Sun. Symbolically, this phase invites awareness, recognition, and integration, a moment to bring into consciousness what has been developing beneath the surface.

Illumination and Awareness: Just as moonlight reveals the contours of the night, this phase invites us to observe our inner world with greater clarity. It becomes an opportunity to recognize recurring patterns, unconscious responses, and beliefs that influence how we experience ourselves and the world.

Releasing What Has Been Revealed: Awareness creates the possibility of transformation. By acknowledging what no longer supports our growth, we begin to loosen our attachment to old identities, emotional patterns, and stories that keep us disconnected from our deeper truth.

Integration and Reciprocity: In Andean cosmology, transformation is inseparable from relationship. As we gain greater understanding of ourselves, we are invited to restore balance in our relationships with others, with the Earth, and with the living world.
